Tennis - Ages 4 - Adult - FALL 2024

Session 1:  Sundays, September 8 - September 29 - Elworthy Tennis Courts #3 & #4
Session 2:  Sundays, October 6 - November 10 - NCRWC - Gymnasium
Session 3:  Sundays, November 17 - December 15 - NCRWC - Gymnasium

Ages 4 - 6 years - Fun, laughter and developing athletic skills are the name of the game for this age group.  They are learning basic hand-eye coordination, agility, balance and the rudiments of tennis technique.  We are building better athletes at this stage and using fun games to keep them engaged.  We also work on basic social skills, playing with others, taking turns, and keeping score.  Maximum of 16 participants per class.

Ages 7 - 11 years
Tennis strokes are beginning to be refined.  We work on a greater variety of different shots, footwork and tactics.  Kids will play points in a variety of fun rally-based tennis games.  They begin to learn traditional tennis scoring.
Maximum of 16 participants per class.

Session 2 & 3 Time:  10:00 - 11:00 am

Ages 11 - 17

Kids will learn tennis serving and traditional scorekeeping.  We introduce spin, continental grip skills, doubles tactics and double positioning.  Max of 16 participants per class.

Adult 18+
This class is beginner friendly and good for any adult from beginner to USTA 3.0 level.
